Studying abroad in Florence, Italy was an amazing experience that offered more than just academic opportunities. The city has an incredible history and culture that captivated me. I was fortunate enough to spend time there in the spring semester of my junior year of college and made it a destination on my backpacking trip in the summer of 2023. From exploring the beautiful architecture and art to indulging in the delicious cuisine and wine, there is something for everyone in Florence. Additionally, the locals are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made it easy for me to feel at home in this vibrant city. Overall, studying abroad in Florence was an unforgettable opportunity that I will always cherish, and a place I can happily call my second home.
